Real Interest Rates

Most know interest rate remain low, but HOW low maybe not. Despite 5 0.25% interest rate increases from Federal Reserve, the real Fed Funds Rate (The stated rate minus Core Consumer Price Index) is still negative. Common sense says it should be positive as bond investors ex inflation should require positive real rates. Point is rates are rising and will continue for a while as the market expects (2-3 more Fed rate hikes this year at least).
